Backstrap Bar & Grill located in Stratton, Maine opened in December 2018. Owners Tony Rossi, Heidi Donovan and Virgil Brown aimed to create a casual restaurant and bar that served great food and drinks to locals and visitors. We are open year-round and have indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a seafood and meat shop at Backstrap. We sell live or cooked Maine lobsters and steamer clams, lots of different fish, scallops and shrimp. We also sell premium cuts of beef, often including prime and/or aged filet mignon, strip sirloin and ribeye steaks cut to order. There is also lots of game sausages, lamb and pork.
